- 1 package (10-oz) frozen green beans, corn, or mixed vegetables, 1 1/2 to 2 cups
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups mashed potato flakes
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
