Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck or ground round
- 1 bag (32 oz.) hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 envelope brown gravy mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tbsp. butter
Preparation:
Brown ground beef in a non-stick skillet ; drain well and transfer to slow crockpot. Combine chopped onion, garlic powder, hash brown potatoes, salt & pepper to taste. Pour over ground beef in crockpot. Stir. Mix gravy and boiling water. Pour over mixture. Dot with butter. Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours on low.Hash brown casserole recipe shared by Beverly
