Crockpot Hash Brown Casserole

A recipe for hashbrown casserole with hash brown potatoes, ground chuck and onions and gravy mix.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck or ground round
  • 1 bag (32 oz.) hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp. butter

Preparation:

Brown ground beef in a non-stick skillet ; drain well and transfer to slow crockpot. Combine chopped onion, garlic powder, hash brown potatoes, salt & pepper to taste. Pour over ground beef in crockpot. Stir. Mix gravy and boiling water. Pour over mixture. Dot with butter. Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours on low.
