Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground round or chuck
- 1 package lasagna noodles
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 ounces ricotta or cottage cheese
- 12 ounces tomato paste
- 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces smoked sausage, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Preparation:
Break noodles into one inch pieces and cook in boiling salted water until slightly tender. Drain. Brown ground beef, onion, and sausage in a frying pan. Grease slow cooker or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour all ingredients into the slow cooker and mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
