Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
Preparation:
Mix ground beef, rice, onions and seasonings. With hands, shape into small meatballs and fry in a large skillet in oil, turning frequently until browned lightly on all sides; transfer to crockpot. Add tomato sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 7 hours. Serves 4.
