Crockpot Seasoned Pork Chops

User Rating 5 Star Rating (1 Review)

This slow cooker recipe is simple and makes a nice everyday meal. The pork chops require just a little browning before putting everything in the slow cooker.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 6 hours

Total Time: 6 hours, 10 minutes

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 pork loin chops (about 3/4 inch thick) trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 cup water

In a shallow bowl or food storage bag, combine flour, salt, mustard, paprica, and garlic powder; dredge or toss pork chops to coat well with the seasoned flour mixture. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the chops on both sides in oil. Place pork chops in slow cooker. Combine soup and water; pour over chops. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender. If desired, thicken juices and serve with the pork chops.
Makes 6 servings.
