Fall apart Pork and Mild but flavorful Sauerkraut, Member cruisindarryl

I made this exactly to recipe with the exception of a chicken bullion cube dissolved into the cup of beer & I added a small amount a cracked pepper and minced garlic before I poured the beer over. I used a light beer because 2 in my family do not drink it and usually do not like it in cooking. I used a small apple, medium sized white onion & 2 lb bag of kraut. It turned out great after 9 1/2 hours (I used 4 lbs pork) on low. The pork was moist and fell apart and the fat just melted away. The tops of the ribs got brown and tasty. The sauerkraut tho was the stand out because it was SO much better than I have usually had. I tho't with the apple it may be sweet but it dissolved in the kraut beautifully even with the skin on. If you do not like the strong taste of kraut, this recipe is for you. It still had a lot of flavor but not the 'wang'. *** We had it with mashed potatoes and lettuce/pineapple salad. *** I just asked everyone if there was anything to change and it was a resounding ""NO!"" and they all said it was in the rotation. ***Sorry, I forgot to take a pic before, so here are the left overs. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow ;-)
