Ingredients:
- 6 to 8 ounces bacon, diced
- 1 package Scalloped Potatoes (about 7 to 8 oz size)
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons reserved bacon drippings
Preparation:
Combine contents of Scalloped potatoes package and seasoning mix with celery seed, pepper, and sugar in the slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and stir into the potato mixture. Mix bacon in. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Serves 4.
