Ingredients:

  • 6 cups sliced raw potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled, or about 4 tablespoons real bacon bits

"This hot German Potato Salad has a lot of good flavor. After 8 hours on LOW, though, the potatoes were still a bit crisp. Next time I will use a MEDIUM heat."
