Tangy Pot Roast Recipe with Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 large top sirloin beef roast, about 3 to 4 pounds
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or garlic seasoning
  • 2 medium onions, cut in wedges
  • 1/3 cup vinaigrette (sun dried tomato, balsamic, your choice)
  • 2 packages brown gravy mix, 1 1/4 ounce each
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice

"This is the best roast I have ever made!! My husband and both kids loved it and that is a great thing at my house at dinner. The meat was incredibly tender and totally flavorful. I prepared it just as the recipe called for. Absolutely delicious and my husband has requested that from now on, I only make this recipe when roast is on the menu!!"
