Cook Time: 10 hours
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds beef roast
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon crushed oregano
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 10 oz can diced green chiles
- 28 oz can diced tomatoes
Preparation:
Place meat in slow cooker, top with rest of ingredients in order given. Cook on HIGH for 5 hours or LOW 10 hours, until meat is tender. Break up meat with a wooden spoon, then cover and cook on low for 2 hours longer. Shred meat thoroughly with two forks and cook for another 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve rolled in flour tortillas, topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, black olives, guacamole or salsa.Beef Taco recipe from Maria P.
