Ingredients:

  • 1 pot roast, about 3 to 4 pounds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. beef broth or water
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup (14 ounces)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp. pickling spice
  • 30 ginger snaps
