Ingredients:
- 1 to 2 pounds fully cooked sausage (chicken-apple sausage, cocktail wieners, etc.)

- Sweet and Tangy Barbecue Sauce:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon prepared regular or Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
Preparation:
Place sausages in a large saucepan; cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer; simmer for about 15 minutes.
While sausages are simmering, combine remaining ingredients in the crockpot.
Cut sausages into bite-size chunks - about 2 inches or less if they are to be appetizers - and place in the crockpot. Stir to coat all sausage pieces. Cover and cook for 4 to 6 hours on LOW.
