Ingredients:
- 1 pound dry yellow split peas
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 large carrot, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons sweet butter
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 quarts water
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in slow cooker; stir. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours. Garnish with chopped green pepper or green onion.
