- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 16 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 28 ounces tomatoes, canned, drained
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon dried leaf basil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 pound turkey breast, cooked and diced
- 1/2 pound turkey Italian sausage, cooked, sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
Preparation:
Serves 10 to 12. May be frozen.
