Turkey with Cranberry-Pineapple Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound turkey breast tenders, or a turkey breast cut in strips 1/2 to 1
  • cup chopped onion
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small can pineapple chunks, drained (about 8 ounces)

Preparation:

Combine the first 5 ingredients and salt and pepper in a small bowl or cup. Pour half into the crockpot. Add turkey and top with onions, garlic, and pineapple. Pour the remaining cranberry sauce mixture over the turkey. Cover and cook on low about 7 to 9 hours.
Serves 4.
