Ingredients:
- 2 pounds baking potatoes (Russets), peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons cold butter, cut into 1/8-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 ounces shredded Swiss cheese or slices, torn into small pieces
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
Preparation:
Blend milk and flour in small bowl until smooth.
Stir mixture into liquids in the crockpot. Add cheese and stir to
blend. Cover and cook on HIGH until slightly thickened, about 15
minutes. Stir to blend well. Pour cheese mixture over potatoes, garnish with the chopped green onions, and
serve.
