Crockpot Saffron Rice

Ingredients:

• 2 cups converted white rice, uncooked (Uncle Ben's Converted Rice)
• 4 1/2 cups water
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
• 3/4 teaspoon saffron threads
• 2 teaspoons salt

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker; stir well. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours, until rice is tender.
Serves 6.
