Easy & Tasty, Member Charlotte.Wilson

I tried this date loaf recipe this morning and highly recommend it. It was quick and easy to make and tastes great. Like the other reviewer, I would use a bit less sugar the next time I make it. I find the dates already add a lot of sweetness. Anywhere between half and 2/3s the amounts would probably be good. I also added several Tbsps. of flaxseeds and sunflowerseeds to give it a bit of added crunch and graininess. This seemed to have worked very well, and the recipe is basic enough that I'm sure one could ""tamper"" with it in various ways. Next time I might grate in some carrot or apple as well. Yummy stuff! And it should go well in lunchboxes, for snacks, or even breakfast.
