Easy Slow Cooker Chili Dip

Diana Rattray
Here's a meaty chili dip recipe with canned chili without beans, ground beef, cheese, and seasonings. Serve this dip with tortilla chips or your favorite corn chips.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 can (16 ounces) chili without beans
  • 16 ounces grated process American cheese (Velveeta)
  • salt, to taste

Preparation:

Brown ground beef in a large skillet; add onion and cook until onion is tender, but not browned. Pour off excess fat. Add cumin, chili powder, chili, and cheese; cook, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted. Taste and add salt, as needed. Serve in slow cooker or chafing dish with tortilla chips or crackers.
