Ingredients:
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- butter
- 8 slices banana bread
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and nutmeg. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Quickly dip bread slices, one at a time, into the egg mixture just to coat, then immediately place into hot butter in skillet. Fry until bread is browned on both sides, turning once. Reduce heat if butter is browning. Serve banana French toast hot with maple syrup.Serves 4.
