A great chocolate fudge recipe, very easy and fast.

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk, undiluted
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

Combine evaporated milk with sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in nuts, marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until marshmallows have melted. Pour mixture into a buttered 9-inch square pan. Let cool then cut into squares.
Makes about 2 pounds.

SUPER easy!December 16, 2008By coco5000
"I've made 3 different fudge recipes in the last 2 weeks (first without marshmallows, NEVER set), one with marshmallow creme, and this one. This was by FAR the easiest (least ingredients) just be sure to boil it for a long time and DO NOT stir it once it boils. I stirred the sugar, salt and condensed milk a few times to mix it, then never stirred again. Kept it on medium, and once it was at a full rolling boil, I boiled it for about 8 mins. After that, take it off the heat and let it cool for 2 mins and THEN beat the marshmallows, chips & vanilla until the mixture doesn't have a sheen (about 3 mins). I used both chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and both were great!"
