Fresh Green Bean Fritters

A recipe for green bean fritters, using green beans or both green and yellow wax beans.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh green beans, cut in 1/4-inch pieces and cooked until crisp-tender
  • (use both green and wax beans if you have them)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • oil for deep frying
