Green beans cooked in the skillet with bell peppers and onion, along with garlic and seasonings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 16 ounces green beans, cooked
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced in strips
  • 1 yellow or orange bell pepper, sliced in strips
  • 1 small onion, halved and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper

"Somebody must have made a typo with this one with the cooking instruction. It said to add already cooked vegetables into the skillet. My god was it bland and it only occurred to me after I had cooked them that something must be wrong with this recipe. It was still ok, but it was overcooked enough to taste like it was a frozen/microwaved vegetable concoction. There are much better things out there to do with green beans..."
