- 3 tablespoons butter
- 8 slices bacon, diced
- 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut in 1-inch pieces
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- salt, to taste
Bring a pot of water to a boil; add beans. Boil for about 8 to 12 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached. Drain beans; add them to the skillet with bacon and butter. Toss well and heat until the green beans are thoroughly coated.
Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste.
