This is such an easy dish to make, and the flavor is fabulous. Serve this tuna with a tossed salad and rice or baked potatoes for a super summer meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds tuna steaks, cut into 4 serving-size portions
- Salt and pepper
- 3 to 4 tablespoons green or black olive spread or tapenade
Preparation:
Oil a nonstick stovetop grill or barbecue grill; heat over medium-high heat or coals. Grill the tuna until seared on the outside but still pink inside, or as desired. Turn to grill the other side; brush the top grilled side with olive spread. Flip briefly and brush lightly with more olive spread. Serve with a little of the olive spread or tapenade on the side, if desired.
Serves 4.
