This hamburger pie is made with a stuffing crust.

Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 ounces) herb-seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Combine stuffing, water, and melted butter; mix well. Reserve 1 cup of stuffing mixture. Press remaining stuffing into 10-inch pie plate to form pie shell.
In a heavy skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until it loses
it is no longer pink; remove from heat. Stir in Cheddar cheese, beaten egg, ketchup, onion, salt, thyme, pepper, and the remaining 1 cup of stuffing mixture.
Spoon the mixture into pie shell and bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes, or until hot and cooked through.
