  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/4 cup plain fine breadcrumbs

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 6 slices dill pickles, chopped, optional

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese, divided

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

  • Fresh tomatoes, sliced, chopped, optional

  • 6 to 8 cooked pieces bacon, optional

  4. To beef and onion mixture, add minced garlic, along with burger seasoning or steak seasoning blend, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

  5. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with mustard, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.

Tip
