- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chile
- 1/2 sweet red bell pepper, sliced
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 to 2 cups cooked or canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
- cornbread or crusty bread
