Tangy Microwave Halibut

A tasty microwave halibut recipe with seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound halibut steaks, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced onion
  • 1/2 cup low calorie Italian salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper or ground black
  • pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • lemon slices, optional
  • parsley sprigs, optional

Preparation:

Arrange steaks in a shallow microwave dish, with thickest areas towards the outside of the dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over the fish. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes. Turn once while fish is marinating. Turn back a corner of the plastic wrap and microwave for 4 to 5 minutes on HIGH power, turning dish 1/4 turn after 2 minutes. Let stand for 3 minutes before serving. If desired, garnish with lemon slices and parsley sprigs.
Serves 4.
