Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup minced onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 clove garlic -- minced
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
Preparation:
In a large skillet, brown ground beef hot oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drop parsley biscuit topping over hot mixture in skillet. Bake in a 425° oven for 20 minutes. Carefully turn casserole out onto a large platter. Cut in wedges and serve immediately.Serves 6 to 8.
Parsley Biscuit Topping:
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
- 1 cup milk
