  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Cook fusilli according to package directions; drain well. In a large skillet in 2 tablespoons butter over medium-low heat, saute garlic for a minute. Add ham, mushrooms, parsley, and white wine. Cook for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly; transfer mixture to a bowl and set aside. Melt remaining 6 tablespoons butter in skillet; add milk, cheese, and pepper; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts and sauce is smooth. Tasted like restaurant quality meal!, Member amywindland

Was a pretty simple recipie to make. We used a bottle of Pinot Grigio, a ham steak, fresh sliced white mushrooms, and macaroni noodles. I didn't realize I was out of parsley, so I subbed oregano. My 6 year old kid looked at it, took a bite and looked a little funny at me cause she expected the noodles to taste like macaroni and cheese. She got over that quick and cleared her plate. She asked for seconds. Her Dad and I both agreed that it tasted like a pasta meal you could get at an italien restaurant. The flavor is kinda like an alfredo wine sauce.
