  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

"I measured everything out, had it on the counter ready to go. Following your dirctions, started to combine the ingredients, but I think you miss in a step here! WHAT TO DO WITH THE SUGAR AND BUTTER!!! Never making this kind of pie, didn't know what to do. Had to find a similar recipe to follow."
