Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cream-style cottage cheese, small curd
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 8 ounces process American cheese, shredded
- paprika
Preparation:
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain well. In a medium bowl combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, and pepper. Add shredded cheese; mix well. Add cooked macaroni, stirring to blend well. Turn mixture into a greased 9-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Macaroni and cheese recipe serves 6 to 8.
