Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs

  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

  • 1 (10 1/2-ounce) can condensed French onion soup

  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

  • Dollop ketchup, or barbecue sauce, optional

  3. Pack into a meatloaf pan or large (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
