I had these recently at a friend's house and really liked them, so I asked her for the recipe. It makes about 60, but she said the recipe can be reduced. Here it is.
Cook Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. margarine
- 6 c. oatmeal
Preparation:
Mix margarine, sugar, milk, cocoa, and salt, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or foil.
