I had these recently at a friend's house and really liked them, so I asked her for the recipe. It makes about 60, but she said the recipe can be reduced. Here it is.

Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 6 c. oatmeal

"I just made these. Haven't tried them yet. It's a gift for a collegue at work. It's a cookie trade for Christmas. Will be trying them tomorrow. Hope their a smash...... We'll be all trying them on Friday, when the trades come in. Other associates from Wal-mart, Canada. , will be trading other cookies for an assorted batch from other employees should be fun. Thanks alot. It was quick and ready in seconds."
