Shupp Noodles

A vintage recipe for Shupp Noodles, from Terri.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • water
  • butter

Preparation:

Make a dough of 1 quart flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and water, so they can be molded into the shape of noodles. Then put in boiling salt water and cook about 10 minutes. Drain noodles and put in pan containing hot butter and fat; fry until light brown. Then beat 3 eggs, pour over noodles and fry again.
