Yield: Makes About 10 5-inch Waffles
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 3 large eggs
- 5 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest
- oil for waffle iron
Preparation:
Combine the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir to blend.
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs. Stir in the melted butter. Pour into the dry ingredients; stir until combined. Stir in the orange zest.
