Ingredients:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white, beaten to stiff peaks
Preparation:
In mixing bowl with hand-held electric mixer, blend egg yolk, sour cream, milk, and butter. Into a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Stir the sifted dry ingredients into first mixture; beat until smooth with mixer. Fold in the beaten egg white. Bake at medium-high heat in a preheated waffle baker.
