By Diana Rattray, About.com

An easy baked ziti recipe, with ricotta, Mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Ziti or Rigatoni noodles
  • 1 Can Del Monte Traditional Sauce (or your own recipe)
  • 1 Ricotta Cheese (16 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons. Lawry's Seasoned Salt (or more for your taste)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation:

Cook ziti according to directions. Put in 9" X 13" pan. Mix in Ricotta cheese and seasoned salt. Mix in Mozzarella cheese. Pour sauce over top. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, serve. Delicious!

You can make this in advance. Great picnic or potluck dish. Freezes well. No one will ever notice that there isn't any meat in it.

Totally Easy Crowd PleaserJune 14, 2009By TheEasyKill30
"I made this for a party and it was a total crowd pleaser. The name of this recipe is no lie - it's definitely an easy no fuss recipe. The prep time does take awhile as boiling that much water for that much pasta probably takes about 20 minutes but after that mixing all the ingredients together is quick. And then it can be put in the oven and forgotten about. Add salt to taste. I think 2 tbsp is too much and the cheese provides a lot of the saltiness. I also added 2 cups of shredded mozzarella as 1 cup didn't seem enough when I was mixing everything together."
