Ingredients:
- 8 ounces orecchiette, cooked and drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 bunch chard, stems removed, chopped, about 2 cups packed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Meanwhile, cook the pasta following package directions; drain and rinse with hot water.
To the chard mixture, add the cream and add salt and pepper to taste. Toss with the hot cooked orecchiette and cook, stirring, until heated through. Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and 4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
Transfer to a serving dish and top with more Parmesan.
