A quick and easy peach cobbler recipe; scroll down for more peach cobblers.

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large can of sliced peaches in syrup, undrained, about 28 to 32 ounces

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°. Put melted butter in 13 x 9 pan. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, milk, vanilla extract; stir until blended. Pour batter into pan and top with the peaches. Cover with foil (so the juice doesn't make a mess) then uncover after 15 minutes to brown. Bake at 350° for a total of 25 to 30 min.

To make this smaller, use 1/2 of everything. And use 8x8 or 9x9-inch pan.

"2 cups of flour 2 cups of sugar 1 soften stick of butter 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla 1 large can of peaches in syrup (29 oz) First wash your hands clean! I preheated gas oven to 360 degrees I used a pyrex rectangular dish 11 1/2 x 7 x 1 3/4 one mixing bowl poured in the 2 cups of sugar first then the 2 cups of flour next I added the 1 teaspoon of vanilla then I added the stick of softened butter I mixed with my hands so that the sugar will also soften/melt with body tempture *wash hands again! add 1 cup of milk first and mixed with big metal spoon... then added the second cup of milk. Now the mixture is thicke and more like a batter. I poured the batter into the dish. make sure it is spreaded evenly. then I added the can of peaches. Lastly before I placed into the oven I placed on a square cookie sheet so that the bottom will brown evenly and the juices will not flow over into the oven bed. covered the dish with foil because this will allow the heat to cook evenly on the inside too I baked for about 45 mins. then I took the foil off and let bake for 15 mins. Mine baked up very nice. I was impressed. Because I did not read the reviews first until after I had mixed all my ingredients together. I was still willing to try it and I am glad I did. I used a tooth pick to test to see and it came out nice and clean. I did sprinkly the top with a little cinnamon once I took off the foil. Let it cool and serve! NOTE: My friend tried this with her oven and she has electric oven. It did not come out the same as mine did. I dont know if that makes a difference or not."
