Classic Recipe, Member annefranks

We have this recipe on a page my mother tore out of Good Housekeeping back in the 50s or 60s and is BEYOND easy which explains why people are still using it 50 years later. The crumbled top bakes up to be a golden, eggy delight. I add a bit of grated nutmeg to the dry ingredients for an extra layer of flavor. I've made this many times and it's great for a quick and tasty dessert. Takes about 5 mins of prep and roughly the same number of ingredients. Definite classic.
