Microwave Peanut Brittle

Microwave peanut brittle recipe from Cyndi.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup raw peanuts
  • 1/2 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

In a large microwave safe bowl add sugar, peanuts, and Karo syrup. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Remove and stir. Microwave 3 minutes. Remove and add butter and stir. Microwave 2 minutes. Remove and add baking soda and vanilla and stir. Pour onto greased cookie sheet and spread with a spoon until thin. Cool peanut brittle and break into pieces.
