Maple Pecan Pie
A maple pecan pie recipe with maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, and pecans.


  • 1 prepared unbaked pastry shell, 9-inch
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups pecan pieces or halves

Amazing, Member deaniac1

I too, am not a fan of corn syrup, as it is way too sweet. The maple gives it a nice savory note, but not too much. Maple syrup is pretty amazing in any case, but it is perfect for a pecan pie. Even my parents, who are born and bred Southern, asked what the ""secret ingredient"" was! I hesitated to tell them it was a Yankee innovation. I am making this again for Easter at the request of the family.
