By Diana Rattray, About.com

This eggnog pie is simply made with unflavored gelatin, dairy eggnog, whipped cream, and chocolate curls, if desired.

Ingredients:

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin (2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 quart eggnog, dairy
  • 1 pie shell, baked, 9-inch
  • whipped cream
  • chocolate curls, optional

Preparation:

In a saucepan, soften gelatin in cold water. Add about 1 cup of eggnog; heat, stirring, until gelatin is dissolved. Remove from heat and add remaining eggnog, blending well. Chill until partially set. Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Pile into baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with unsweetened chocolate curls, if desired.
