Crockpot soup recipe, made with dried fruit, pineapple, apples, and spices.
Ingredients:
- 1 small pkg. (6 ounces) mixed dried fruit or 1 1/2 cups of your choice dried fruit
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 small can pineapple chunks with juice
- 1 large Granny Smith apple, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups apple juice or orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Cinnamon stick, broken up
- 2 to 3 whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1 cup water
Preparation:
Dump all ingredients into a crockpot the night before you plan to
serve; mix well, and cook on low all night (7 to 9 hours). Add other frozen or canned fruits, if desired. Remove cloves and cinnamon stick pieces before serving.
