Easy and tasty as a dessert or side dish with roast pork or baked ham.
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds plums, about 12 to 14
- 1 to 1/4 cups sugar, or to taste, depending on how sweet the plums are
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Preparation:
Wash plums. Halve plums, remove pits, and halve again. Toss with sugar and the cinnamon in slow cooker. Combine cold water with cornstarch; add to plums. Cover and cook on LOW for about 3 hours. Serve as a side dish with roast pork or ham, or as a dessert with cream.
These can also be packed in containers and frozen.
