Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 heaping tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried leaf sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
Preparation:
Meanwhile, spirnkle the pork chops with salt and pepper and dust with flour. Add the pork chops to the skillet and brown on both sides, about 4 minutes on each side.
Add the garlic, herbs, chicken broth, and butter; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes. If the pork chops are very thick, simmer for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Serves 4.
