Easy Breaded Pork Chops
These simple breaded pork chops are a snap to prepare and cook in the skillet. Use pork chops of thin to medium thickness in this recipe.


  • 4 center-cut pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil


Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a heavy skillet. Whisk egg and milk together in a shallow bowl. Dip each pork chop in the egg mixture then dredge in flour. Fry in the hot oil for about 4 to 6 minutes on each side.
Serves 4.

Simple and quick recipe. Tasted great. I substituted the vegetable oil with olive oil. I also added garlic salt to the flour. I browned both sides of the chops then cooked until juices ran clear. Would make again.
