Teriyaki Pork Chops

Combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, ginger and garlic in a large food storage bag. Add pork chops; seal and turn from side to side to coat chops. Place in refrigerator and marinate for 1 hour, turning several times to coat pork. Empty the coating mix into the shaker bag. Remove chops from marinade. Shake pork chops, 2 at a time, in the bag until evenly coated. Arrange pork chops in a single layer on a rack or crumpled foil in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 425° for 40 to 45 minutes, until pork cops are done.
Serves 6 to 8.
