Ingredients:
- 2 to 3 racks spareribs
- ***Rub***
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
Preparation:
Cut ribs into 2-rib portions. Combine the brown sugar, pepper, onion powder, salt, chili powder, and chipotle pepper. Generously rub the ribs with the seasoning mixture and arrange the ribs, meaty side down, in the prepared roasting pan.
Bake the ribs, meaty side down, for 45 minutes. Turn and bake for 45 minutes longer.
Brush with barbecue sauce and grill over medium coals for about 15 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
